I'm back....for the time being.

Yes, I've still got the blog. But no, I don't have much time. New job, and a little side business combined with the fact that I literally can't stomach much more of this Clinton/Obama shit have gnawed at my interest and ability to write.

But I did have a few thoughts.....

I can't possibly be the only one that in some ways, sees this as a crumbling empire. And like most others in history, we won't be defeated by an external enemy. We'll rot from the inside. And I honestly feel that the reason why is group/identity politics.

Watching these two schmucks - Clinton, Obama and their campaign supporters - literally admit that they support either of them based on superficial differences disgusts me. Is this what this country is all about now? Should we all just vote for who looks the most like us? Is that what things have come to? Segments of our society vote for a candidate based on their ability to raid the treasury, swipe taxpayer money and divert it to their said demographic? Blacks support the fraud Obama at over a 90% clip, women are pissed about Hillary's "mistreatment," and usually liberal white voters have seemingly turned on Obama. And the most ironic thing about this mess is that it's involved Democrats. Yeah....Democrats. You know, those people that are supposed to be about acceptance, tolerance of differences, the "little man," and inclusion. I think this shows that all those claims over the last several decades from those liberals are utter bullshit. And a rather large steaming pile of it too.

Myself, well I'm inclined to believe something else. Again, it's about power and ideology. The socialist/Marxist movement must have "clients," otherwise known in this situation as the American public. For their ideology to thrive, we must be dependent on them. And what better way for them to accomplish this than to pit us against one another over superficial differences. Force us to vote along racial/ethnic/gender lines to empower those that pander to us, and in turn, enabling them to control every facet of our lives - from what we eat, drive, and say, all the way to what we "might" think. And I'm sad to say this, but it's happening. It's been happening for decades, and I don't see anyone out there to change it. At least not right now.  And that scares the hell out of me.

What I'd like to know from these liberal snakes is this - when will they finally say "ok, we've spent enough tax dollars pandering to demographics, we're done." If they nationalize health care, what is next? What else will the government try to control? Do we really want a Western European-style cradle-to-grave type of society? Seriously, is that it? Don't know about everyone else, but when I look at history and the characteristics this country was based on, this warped liberal ideology that's been peddled by liberals is the complete opposite of it. What happened to rugged individualism, self-reliance, and independent mindedness? When did those attributes die? All we seem to have now, and this campaign between Hitlery and the fraud Obama proves it, are a bunch of pissed off warring factions in search of some more free shit on the taxpayers' dollar, or having policies and laws enacted to give them preferential treatment. Absolutely. Positively. Pathetic.

I seriously worry about the future of this nation, now more than ever. And the strange thing is that it's not "the Soviets", islamic fundamentalists, or any of those nutbars that scare me the most, it's the fact that this warped ideology - socialism/Marxism - that has miserably failed everywhere it has ever been laid on thick, has reared it's ugly head here. And even worse, it's our own fault. "We the people on average are an uninformed, apathetic bunch of folks that have allowed this to happen. Sad. Very sad.

I just hope to hell we as a society have it in us to take a break from reality tv long enough to stop this leftward slide into the same dark abyss that's filled with souls of other failed empires that essentially committed suicide.

And by the way, I still don't know who I'm voting for.
