ports ports ports

posted Friday, 24 February 2006

Everyone in the world is blogging about the ports. ports, ports, ports!

Well of course, I have a take on it. And here it is....

Personally, I think this is a shitbomb either way. Trust me, the LAST thing in the world I want is is people from a mudslime country having ANYTHING to do with our security. That is scary, and in my opinion, a situation like this SHOULD HAVE BEEN prevented a LONG TIME AGO!

Am I crazy, or should this be handled domestically? National Security? Ya think? Maybe???????

But too late now, eh. Now we've got to deal with a dilemna. And not a good one at all. To me, it's a lose/lose situation. And I hate that.

Of all the countries in goat-banger land, the UAE's gov't has been very friendly to us. They've helped us in the war on koranimals. So, do we allow them to have a huge influence over our national security with our ports, or do we alienate them, and possibly other friendly allies in the region (lol) by basically telling them they're a bunch of cameljockeys that have no business in our ports? Tough question, right?

Wrong!

Fuck'em. That's what I say.

I want Americans controlling port security. Not a country filled with koranimals. We're just asking for a wmd attack by handing over ANY security to a nation that is mostly mudslime.

It only takes one bad apple to spoil a bunch, and with this country (UAE) one of which some of the 9/11 hijackers came from, I say "to hell with you!"

I'm sure our nation can manage without the support of a country that is about the size of my little toe. And if they decide to turn hostile.........

hmmm....who knows.

My sentiments exactly. I know the UAE have been allies since 9-11, but do we owe them payola? That's what this deal looks like to me. "If you'll be my buddy, I'll remember it when the right time comes". ANd Bush is becoming fairly famous for his cronyism.

Muslims are Muslims first and foremost. Look what fury was caused by some stupid cartoons. When an all out mass jihad is declared, all Muslims will side with Mohammed and fight to destroy all infidels. And then some of them will be in our ports, running the operations, inspecting the contents of international shipments, passing on information to other countries about our security and outbound shipments.

This is all a huge shitbomb, if I may use your vernacular, and one that will explode in our faces one day.

I think I am infavor of protectionism, high import restrictions and nationalism. I think we are at a point where we cannot trust the rest of the world. I also am beginning to think that these multi-national corporations are trouble and have no regard to American or Americans except as consumers and/or pawns.

Geez! This whole "port control" issue is getting overwhelming and out of control. I'm not sure how many of you go over to LGF. They had this link posted that raises my two eyebrow's and THEN some!!!

http://canadafreepress.com/2006/jonsson022506.htm

I agree, if it doesn't look "clean" then we MUST keep it "out of our house" ESPECIALLY when the perspective biz owners are the enemy themself!!! I don't care what/if ANYONE says, "but, but, they're our ally on the War on Terror they said they were going to help us!"...yeah, and I can trust my 5 & 2 year olds to not touch the bag of candy on the table...they SWEAR they won't touch it, they just want to LOOK at it! Oops, the candy is now gone, NOW they swear that neither did they not TOUCH it but don't know WHERE it went!!!

I swear thats what seems to be the extent of our relationship between ANY muslim country we've dealt with in the past.

I also STRONGLY believe that NO politician should be allowed to make ANY policy decision regarding any muslim nation until they read and understand what the Bible AND koran say about the relationship between Isaac and Ishmael and the nations that they now represent. It really IS a pretty simple equation: Isaac + Ishmael = Emnity In fact, despite how much MM LOVES reading the Bible (lol), Genesis 16:12 sums it up pretty well: "And he (Ishmael) will be a wild donkey of a man, his hand will be against EVERYONE, and EVERYONE'S hand will be against him: and he will live to the east of all his brothers." (MY emphasis on the cap's).

I can't wait to hear what "convincing" evidence will surface next on why it is IMPERATIVE to allow the UAE to control our ports...geez. MBV

Great response MBV. I am not a bible reader today, but at one time I tried to read it cover to cover without knowing what I was looking to find. Yours is an interesting perspective on a Christian view of today's situation. I plan to follow up on that more. Thanks for the insight.
